Mental illness can affect almost all families at some point. The Division of Psychiatry treats roughly 10,000 patients every year. Our patients present with all types of mental illness, and include children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. We are keen to provide help at an early stage - whether it be a matter of anxiety, depression, eating disorder, psychosis, or some other disorder. Modern psychiatry has many effective paths of treatment, and those we prefer include therapeutic conversation and group therapy.
