ParkinsonNet
ParkinsonNet is a patient-centered and network-based healthcare initiative that unites professionals within an interdisciplinary network possessing a high level of expertise in Parkinson's disease and Parkinsonism.
The Norwegian ParkinsonNet team is dedicated to training and educating healthcare professionals, transforming them into Parkinson’s disease experts, and fostering networks among these professionals and individuals living with Parkinson’s. We strongly advocate for collaborative teamwork between patients and healthcare professionals, believing that optimal care for this complex disease can only be achieved through such unified efforts.
ParkinsonNet places a strong emphasis on communication and training across various areas of expertise, healthcare levels, and geographical borders. The current network includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nurses from all corners of Norway.
