SIRENS Stroke

– uredde idéer som radikalt forbedrer kliniske resultater

Innovasjonsplattformen SIRENS skal sikre at SUS kan ivareta utviklingsprosjekter med stort innovasjons- og kommersialiseringspotensiale, i tett samarbeid mer andre aktører. Samarbeidene er gjerne mellom klinikk, akademia, pasientorganisasjoner og næringsliv. En slik modell piloteres gjennom SIRENS Stroke.
 
SIRENS Stroke leder og deltar i ulike innovasjonsprosjekter for å betydelig forbedre kliniske resultater innen slagbehandling. Disse prosjektene er innenfor kvalitetsforbedring, simulering, og tjeneste- og produktutvikling.


Gjennom dedikert bruk av simuleringstrening har klinikken blant annet redusert door-to-needle tid fra 29 minutter til 13 minutter. Les mer under prosjekter og nyheter.

Hvilke prosjekter deltar vi i?

Hjerneslag er en viktig årsak til invaliditet og dødelighet i hele verden. Årlig rammes nesten 15 000 nordmenn – rundt 40 om dagen – og man antar at mer enn 70 000 mennesker lever med betydelige plager og skader etter slag her i landet. Hjerneslag er en av de store folkesykdommene og en stor utfordring for alle ledd i helsevesenet. Særlig geografisk og behandlingstiden er avgjørende for hvor store skadefølger pasienten får. SIRENS Stroke leder og deltar i ulike innovasjonsprosjekter for å forbedre kliniske resultater. Disse prosjektene er innenfor kvalitetsforbedring, simulering, og tjeneste- og produktutvikling.
